“Finding Home”

Projects of CU-Boulder Upward Bound Students

Writing about home and taking a black and white picture. It is a self reflection of “home” and who we are.

“The human spirit is enormously powerful, intelligent, and creative. These young photographers showed us how important their dreams of hope, self confidence, wisdom and beauty are. In no way do I believe that photography is a panacea or salvation from poverty and indifference. These children’s’ futures are uncertain. Their visions, however, have much to teach our society, and we must be open to their messages, expressed here in photographs and words”

-Jim Hubbard (Shooting back from the Reservation)
